NBA and DoorDash
For every NBA moment, there is a flavor on DoorDash.

In 2020, DoorDash announced its partnership with the NBA. This partnership underscored the focus of empowering local economies, supporting Black-owned businesses, and using our platform to create change. We kicked off the announcement with two campaigns: Food is Life (partnership announcement) and Play it Forward (social campaign supporting Black-owned businesses).

Social media challenge led by 10 NBA stars aimed to raise awareness for and support Black-owned restaurants in communities across the United States.
Our brand activation encouraged consumers to support Black-owned restaurants with the help of 11 NBA players who informed their social media followers about their favorite Black-owned restaurants on DoorDash. These restaurants (plus more!) were then featured in the Black-owned restaurants ‘$0 Delivery Fee’ carousel in app and $1 per order was donated to the National Urban League for the month of August 2020 (Black-owned Business Month).
I also played copywriter and named the activation.
